Wii sells big across Europe

A grand total of 10.8 million consoles have been sold by Nintendo, and we’re also reliably informed that the PS3 has outsold the Xbox 360 during the year.

Beyond this financial report-derived news, we’re told that the Xbox 360 has been picking up since last month’s European price cut, Microsoft closing the gap on the PS3 thanks to this move.

Still, the Wii is far and away Europe’s favourite, it would seem.
